Ajax Cape Town arrived in Johannesburg relieved as cooler weather greeted the team, leaving behind a heatwave that is scorching the Cape.
The team arrived at the Sinaba Stadium at 10h00 for their first training session of the camp and they were delighted at the condition of the pitch as well as the dressing rooms.
Travelling with the Ajax squad are the two foreign trialist and a number of reserve team players as well as two trialist from the Gauteng area. The spirit in the camp is relaxed and the players are enthused at being given a chance to impress the coach ahead of the restart of the new season.
Tonight Ajax Cape Town play Wits at the Bidvest Stadium starting at 18h00 in one of two practice games scheduled for their training camp in Johannesburg.
