  • And another group buying website has launched, CitySlicker http://bit.ly/dJDh4O #
  • So many public holidays coming up, very exciting. Is there a collective noun for public holidays? An extravaganza? A treat? A blessing? #
  • Southern Suburbs Greendrinks tonight at Josephine Mill will be looking at the role of art in activism (6:30pm, all welcome) #
  • Lonesome Dave Ferguson is leaving CT forever! Wipe the tears from your eyes, then click for details of his last gig http://on.fb.me/gXlXGa #
  • And it appears another group buying site went live a few days ago, dealson.co.za – am I missing something? #
  • Man, I wish it was April 1st. I just came up with the most awesome April Fools. Would have totally fooled everyone. Will have to wait a year #
  • Was just offered some cashola to do a 'sponsored post' about a weight loss product. I turned it down because I believe they are all a scam. #
  • Amen, sister! RT @CapeTown_Girl: @RelaxWithDax yup – only way to lose weight is to eat healthy food and exercise. #
  • 100% RT @GregSym: @RelaxWithDax on the money my man! Supplement & Diet market one of the biggest marketing scams! Including Vitamin water. #
  • And that's the end of Ultimate Frisbee season. Nice last game. Will miss the Monday sunsets too. #
  • Having Rob Vember fill in for Gareth Cliff on 5FM this morning is great. It means my day can only improve. #
  • Heading to the Top 100 SA Wines awards a little later. Should be interesting http://bit.ly/hegK4V #
  • Arrived at The Rodwell boutique Hotel in St James. Nice spot #SAtop100 http://twitpic.com/4muuy0 #
  • Cedarberg, Saronsberg & Simonsig have all got more than 3 wines in the #SAtop100 #
  • Wow, nice to see Oldenburg with 3 wines from their MAIDEN vintage in the #SAtop100 I told you that Cab Franc was tip top. #
  • Flipsakes, this Saxenburg Private Collection shiraz '06 must be worth whatever price they are asking #nectar #
  • Inception: If Leo &his wife grew old together while stuck in the dream, why were they young when they lay on the railway track to 'wake up'? #
  • Today is the anniversary of the BP oil spill in the Gulf of Mexico. Can you believe it's been a year already? #
  • La Colombe drops out of the World Top 50 restaurants. View the full listing here http://bit.ly/hllTgt #
  • Heading to Hemelhuis for my first visit. Thought I'd save it for a rainy day. Hehe #
  • I don't mind paying the parking attendants in town, but they never have change and neither do I. #
  • That was a very pleasant lunch. Lovely space, service was acceptable & the lamb pie was delicious. As were the potato wedges & truffle mayo. #
  • And tonight, dinner at The Roundhouse. Eric should have settled in nicely by now. Looking forward to seeing what he is producing. #
  • Pre drinks at Kitima. Because it's right next door to The Roundhouse! #
  • 7 courses paired with wines at The Roundhouse last night, 'fallow deer' a highlight. Think I need a toasted bacon & egg for breakfast today. #
  • Wow! Olympus now offers 'Multi Recording' so you can shoot 2 videos at once (zoomed & not) or take photos while filming http://bit.ly/eZuQkC #

  • Keeping it real with lunch at Vasco's today. It comes at a price though, burping rancid peri peri sauce all afternoon is not pleasant. #
  • Karma: after complaining about the peri peri sauce it turns out Vasco's has RUN OUT which means I could actually taste the chicken. Gross. #
  • Sorry, the link to John Cleese was wrong. Here's the correct link http://bit.ly/eVlARx #
  • Tomorrow is Earth Day. Have you pledged your contribution to the goal of a billion acts of green? http://bit.ly/hFJcyg #

  • It's the last round and we're still in the lead! #quiznight #
  • Ah man, we slipped up in the last round and came 3rd overall. Who knew the plural of opus is opera? #quiznight #
  • Just installed Blackberry Protect app. It backs up your phone to a server & u can remote format as well as locate your phone if stolen! #
  • I like that CT is more about lifestyle than money but it means that on a public holiday there is a 50% chance that any eatery is closed. #
  • Google's doodle for Earth Day is quite cool. It's even animated http://www.google.com #
  • Just had lunch at the JC Brasserie. It's fairly inexpensive & we have a nice table in the sun. But there are definitely some negatives. #

  • Oh boy, it's beer o' clock already. Look at all those beautiful taps #HopeStMarket http://twitpic.com/4od5mg #
  • Yummo, just tasted Rudi's chilli buffalo boerewors. So tasty & the spiciness is going well with this cold Darling beer #HopeStMarket #
  • Had delicious briyani at a mate's place tonight. So good I ate until it was too uncomfortable to continue. I'm going to sleep well tonight. #
  • Awesome roast lamb lunch, now I'm curled up in bed with my Blackberry. And the Sunday Times. #
