Unemployment increases in first quarter of 2019:

South Africa’s unemployment rate increased by 0.5% point to 27.6% compared to the fourth quarter of 2018.

Police on Monday arrested a female traveller at the Beitbridge port of entry after South African Revenue Service (SARS) Customs officers intercepted her attempting to smuggle R2 million worth of 198.49kg of crystal methamphetamine.
