This adventure was recorded and produced by our client Martin Blane while taking part on our touring adventure from Victoria Falls to Cape Town in September 2016.
This 16 day journey on latest model BMW 1200GS, started on the Zimbabwe side of Victoria Falls , travelled through Botswana and the little known Kingdom of Lesotho, and finished nearly 5,000 kilometres later in Cape Town, “Africa’s Fairest Cape”.
Inscriptions are now open for our latest two epic 17 day adventures touring across Southern Africa in 2017.
Join us on either, travelling through South Africa, Namibia, Botswana and Lesotho – a journey through some of the world’s most beautiful scenery, meeting some of the friendliest people and riding some of the best tracks on top-of-the-line BMW GS1200 LC bikes, considered the ideal bike for these journeys with surprisingly sporty handling.
This year there is a change, with the option of an 80 minute scenic flight in a light aircraft, to or from Victoria Falls across the Okavango Delta.
We have found some amazing off-road tracks and chosen interesting road routes to suit everyone’s tastes. As with our other adventures the scenery and local sights are varied and beautiful – made to be photographed, and the people though generally poor are very friendly. Along the way we have arranged some different activities for you to enjoy – eg. game drives; sundowner river cruises to see hippos, elephants etc; whale watching cruise, braais (BBQs) or a visit to a private lion & cheetah reserve.
You will start your adventure immediately on arrival if you allow yourself a day at Victoria Falls so that you can experience some of the multitude of adrenalin activities on offer, such as the Devil’s Cauldron or a micro-light flight over the Falls.
