The District Six Museum Foundation will Thursday hold a vigil to remember the 50th Anniversary of the force removal of residents of Ditsrict Six in 1966. The area was declared a whites only area under the Group Areas Act, and tens of thousands of people were removed from the area. The removals saw more than sixty-thousand people relocated to the Cape Flats situated on the periphery of the city. For more we are joined by SABC reporter Vannesa Poonah who is with Minister of Rural Development and Land reform Gugile Nkwinti.
