The penultimate race in the Vodacom Cape Town Surfski Festival – the gruelling 50km Fenn Cape Point Challenge!
A strong South East wind and raging 3m swell forced race organisers to move the course from the traditional Scarborough-Fish Hoek course to a start in Long Beach, Simonstown, and ending in Fish Hoek.
those who took on this monumental challenge were faced with an intense 25km slog into the wind, via Buffelsbaai, to the legendary Cape Point. From there it was an almost 180º turn into 25km of pumping downwind all the way to the finish at Fish Hoek. Well done to all who competed!
