Designer Fireplaces innovates with the design of custom-built wood burning fireplaces. These fireplaces are not only pleasing to the eye, but the unique design ensures that they are also eco-friendly and efficient - a glass door and ceramic structure retain 88% of the energy from your fire to provide a non-electric heat source for over 12 hours - the perfect low cost heating solution at home or in the office. All the fireplaces are also 100% child friendly, keeping the flames where they should be and away from curious little hands.
The company was born in 2010 representing Bio Fireplaces in Europe. It then expanded to Cape Town and Johannesburg in South Africa and broadened the product range to cater for the South African market, by introducing the new masonry heaters. These fireplaces are perfectly suited to the more moderate African climate, because they can provide sufficient day-long heat for an average work or living space.
