These elevator lobbies are in the new Broadway Tower at 1455 S.W. Broadway in Portland. If occupancy statistics are a measure of success, then this building has been an immediate success. A Radisson RED hotel occupies the first nine floors. All but one of the remaining 10 floors are already leased.

Portland is experiencing a hotel boom. Thank goodness, this new hotel is not part of the notorious tourist-diplomat Gordon Sondland’s hotel empire.
