Happy times: Kira Chernotsky congratulates Dr Chad Centner on winning a prize in the ICTS survey competition.
When Dr Chad Centner participated in Information and Communication Technology Services (ICTS) survey on students’ IT experiences, he simply filled in the form, not realising that respondents stood a chance of winning a prize.
His honesty in that survey has landed Centner, who is doing his master’s of science in medicine, a brand new Proline Netbook, sponsored by Proline.
The ICTS survey, which took place from 15 April until 2 May, set out to determine the students’ experiences of ICT services at UCT. Kira Chernotsky, head of the Customer Services Division at ICTS, reports that 10% of students took part in the survey.
“The results have given ICTS an insightful view into student usage, and have provided us with a number of actionable items to improve our services,” Chernotsky says.
