Father's Day Country music feast

29 May 2012 by Alan

This father’s day fans can expect a country feast when nine of South Africa’s top country genre singers and musicians share a stage at the Bakgat Country Opskop at the GrandWest Grand Arena on Sunday, 17 June.

On the bill for the evening are veteran country stars Lance James, Bobby Angel, Barbara Ray, Tommy Dell, Clive Bruce, and Ray Dylan.  Between them, these legendary performers are household names and have earned countless accolades from gold albums to multiple awards, and prestigious lifetime awards from the likes of ATKV, SAMA, GHOEMA, VONK and IFM. They will be joined by talented new country artists Manie Jackson, Cheree and Andre Swart.

The show starts at 15h00 and tickets are available from Computicket from R120 to R150.
