The City of Cape Town’s interactive Let’s ACT at Home exhibit has popped up at Liberty Promenade Mall in Mitchells Plain. It will be there until Monday, 6 April 2026, before heading to Canal Walk and then Kenilworth Centre. These exhibits form part of the Cape Town Future Energy Festival and give Capetonians the opportunity to discover easy ways to reduce energy use at home and cut household costs while being more climate smart.
The initiative forms part of the City’s broader efforts to encourage sustainable living and empower residents to play an active role in how our natural resources are consumed. Visitors to the mall pop-ups can help to spread these important messages to their families and friends, creating climate change champions across the city.
The City’s Executive Director for Energy, Kadri Nassiep, popped in to visit the exhibit and engage with residents on how they can save power and reduce costs.
