Earlier today, during a small ceremony in his office, Honourable Speaker Masizole Mnqasela, presided over the swearing-in of Mr Shaun August of GOOD as the newest Member of the Western Cape Provincial Parliament.
Honourable August has until recently served as Member of the National Assembly and, before that, as the Chief Whip of the City of Cape Town until he joined the GOOD party.
Honourable August is switching seats with his GOOD counterpart, Brett Herron, who is now taking up Honourable August’s position at the National Assembly.
