Stillwater Sports is excited to announce its 2021 trail running event dates which includes the return of South Africa’s premier three-day stage trail run, the AfricanX Trailrun.
“2020 has been a challenging year to say the least. We are excited to put it behind us and focus on the future,” says Michael Meyer, Managing Director of Stillwater Sports. “We are extremely happy to kick off the 2021 Trail Running Calendar with the iconic AfricanX Trailrun, an event that has become synonymous with keywords such as magnificent trails, spectacular views, mouth-watering food, relaxed atmosphere, great vibe and most importantly teamwork. We are excited to bring back South Africa’s premier three-day stage trail run and can’t wait to welcome trail runners to the start line.”
“In April we return to the beautiful town of Stellenbosch where trail runners will be treated to double the action with the Savanna Origin of Trails Trail Run Experience being transformed into an exciting two-day stage race,” continues Meyer. “Trail runners will get to experience the best and most exclusive trails on offer in the ‘City of Oaks’. In June we will head to Buffelspoort for the 8th annual Fedhealth Platinum Trail Run. Featuring the best off-road routes on offer in the North West Province, the Fedhealth Platinum Trail Run possesses a perfect balance between challenge and reward.
There is also a kids’ event, making this the perfect family outing.”
