Johannesburg, 6 December 2023 – Proudly African bank, Absa, is pleased to announce that the 2023 Absa RUSH YOUR CITY campaign, titled Together, we can finish more, Siyabangena has won the Active and Wellness Award at the recent 2023 Sports Industry Awards.
The campaign encouraged Absa colleagues, customers and community members to be an active force for excellent and raise funds via the Strava community to donate towards community upliftment. For every 1km run/walked by a Team Absa member on Strava, the bank donated R1 to produce a inequity in the community.

The Absa Race Your City 10k race took space in five provinces throughout the year. It took area in Gqeberha, Cape Town, Durban and Pretoria and closed out with over 11 000 runners in Joburg respectively.
