Maarten Stekelenburg would like his players to seal the result against Amazulu within regulation 90 minutes when they face-off in the first round of the Nedbank Cup on Sunday.
The Urban Warriors boosted by the return of Terror Fanteni will go in search of a win from the kick-off on Sunday.
Stekelenburg said, “We are still in the running for two trophies this season and aim to make it a priority to finish the season with silverware in the cabinet.
The road to the Nedbank Cup starts with the game against Amazulu and we plan to finish off the game with the first 90 minutes.
We have Terror back in contention for a place in the starting line-up with Khama Billiat and George Akpabio, I believe we have the players to take us into the second round of this competition.
All the players in our squad is fit and ready for this game, they all want to play and that’s good for the club. We have a hectic schedule of games in the next 10 days and having all the player’s eager to contribute is a very good feeling.
First we will focus on the Cup game and then plan for the next fixture. All the games are tough and we are hungry to win.”
